The Bryzant Gold Mine is near Twin Bridges, Montana. Historically the site has been associated with the Tidal Wave Mining District which is now part of the Beaverhead National Forest. The Bryzant Gold Mine was closed at the time of data entry with no known plans to re-open. Production size when active was considered to be small. Mine operations consist of surface and underground workings. There is one known shaft. Subsurface length extends a maximum of 488 meters (1,600 feet). The ore mined is composed of silver, galena and sphalerite with waste material consisting primarily of pyrite and quartz. The ore body has a lenticular or lens shaped form extending 304.80 meters (1,000.00 feet) long and 0.91 meters (2.99 feet) wide. The host rock in this area is gneiss from the Neoarchean era 2.80 to 2.50 billion years ago. The Northern Rocky Mountains physiographic province of the Rocky Mountain System characterize the geomorphology of the surrounding area.

ALL HIGHER GRADE SHIPPING ORE WAS FOUND ABOVE THE 50-FEET. LEVEL. SOME MILLING ORE IS REPORTED IN LOWER LEVELS.; 2 FEET VEIN; IRON STAINED.
